Welcome to CFC Youth for Christ Online Website

The CFC-Youth for Christ Community

CFC Youth For Christ (CFC-Youth) is a youth organization under the Couples For Christ Family Ministries. It is open to people aged 13-21 of any Christian denomination, although the majority of the members are Catholics. YFC creates an environment to help every young adult in their journey to become close with Christ. Like Couples for Christ, YFC calls for, "Rapid, massive, global evangelization."

It is now present in over a hundred countries and now has a lot of programs, which have somewhat varied from country to country. At the moment, YFC has grown to over a hundred countries in the world. Youth for Christ holds various activities like Sector assemblies, general assemblies, and Chapter meetings. The biggest activity of Youth for Christ however, is most likely the International Leaders' Conference or the ILC, wherein all YFC members from the Philippines meet, it is international because it also invites Youth for Christ representatives from other countries. YFC-International Leaders’ Conference held from April 3- 5 at the Metro Naga Sports Complex had more than 12,000 members (from the Philippines alone) who participated.

Why Join us?

  • The Fun. It is the place where you will hear the Word of God proclaimed by other young adults like yourselves in an environment of fun and excitement, where they do not experience any form of pressure from adults.
  • Friendship. It is the place where you can form friendships with one another through sports, games and as they share ideas and experiences, and entertain one another in a wholesome environment where Christian values are talked about and are actively practiced.
  • Freedom. Nothing is ever imposed on us. This principle springs from the basic belief that Christianity can only be lived out if it begins with an individuals personal decision to follow Christ.
  • Faith. Young people undergo a "conversion to Christ" experience, an experience healing and reconciliation with the immediate members of their family, especially their parents. The youth of today have a great knowledge of God but do not necessarily have faith in God. YFC intends to make “real “ the presence of Christ in the lives of young people.
  • It is the place where they will be stimulated and encouraged to develop their gifts and potentials for leadership as they are exposed to other young adults who are actively involved in serving them as speakers, facilitators, sports and games coordinators, and other services that are essential to the life of the Youth for Christ. More than that.... The Food. Sarap ng food, diba mga titos and titas?

Prayer is our communion with God, whether it be a petition made to God, worship, repentance, praise, or thanksgiving. It doesn't have to be a laid-out patent prayer, but words from the heart. Group prayer is a powerful force.  When multiple people bring the power of their thoughts and emotions together, the Law of Attraction can truly shine.  With many people working together to attract the same thing, a tremendous boost of energy goes into the thoughtform, and the universe hears this loud and clear.  Manifestations with a group can happen very quickly indeed.

James 5:16 Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed.
The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.

AITH –The youth of today have a great knowledge of God but do not necessarily have faith in God. YFC intends to make “real “ the presence of Christ in the lives of young people.

FREEDOM – The young are gifted with the freedom to choose. Realizing this, YFC sets the environment so that young people will be challenged to respond to the call of God and make a personal decision to accept their faith.

With the Lords guidance and blessing we were able to bring 56 new youths to Christ! This by far is the largest YFC Winnipeg camp to be held surpassing the previous record of 45 participants in Camp Exodus! But with all this talk about numbers, numbers, numbers, let us remember that above all else, it should always be quality before quantity.

The YFC Identity.

Our identity is the result of our innate and core values that we in YFC want to live by.  Being a YFC is not just our spiritual, the 7 ID’s is the fullness of who and what we are as YFC.

Our uniqueness is our oneness and commonness as brothers and sisters in YFC.

Our uniqueness emanates from God – as individuals and as one body anchored on the image and likeness of God.

Our ultimate goal is to bring the young to Christ as His sons and daughters.

Our true and ultimate identity is that we are sons and daughters of God.

Former Philippine President Fidel V. Ramos, a staunch supporter of the Gawad Kalinga (GK) program, will deliver the keynote address at the first GK Heroes Night to be held on Sunday, October 26 at 6:30 P.M. at Fort Garry Hotel.

The event will give tribute to the thousands of donors and volunteers worldwide who have kept the vision alive by providing financial, material and human support to Gawad Kalinga in its goal to alleviate poverty in the Philippines by building homes for the poor. Together with the housing component comes a full complement of services that includes education for their children, livelihood opportunities for adults, and health and social services for the entire family.

KAWIT, CAVITE – One hot morning in September, this writer shot former Cavite Rep. Gilbert Remulla.

No, it was not triggered by a criminal intent, and, yes, he was unscathed and still standing, the orange spots on his vest still visible from a distance.

The province of Camarines Sur, Bicol, is a hidden beauty discovered recently by adventure-seekers. Development in the area is taking off – including the CamSur Water Sports Facility in Pili, known for its world-class wakeboarding, the pristine beaches of Caramoan Peninsula (setting of Survivor Philippines), and Sorsogon’s whale sharks.

But one of CamSur’s real treasures is found in the quaint rural town of Libmanan, a place that buses en route to the Bicol region’s attractions must inevitably visit. And nowadays, travelers don’t merely pass through on the way to Bicol’s natural wonders - they’re also drawn to GK Libmanan, a beautiful haven for weary travelers like me.
